The Amity School of Hospitality (ASH) recently hosted the "Bake Your Cake-Bakery Competition" as part of Amifest 2024, showcasing the culinary talents of its students. Held on February 28th at the Bakery and Confectionery Lab, AUH, the event saw enthusiastic participation from four students enrolled in the Bachelor's in Hotel Management program. Divided into two teams, they crafted delectable treats such as deconstructed brownies and tuti fruity pound cakes.
The competition was judged by esteemed faculty members, including Mr. Arunangshu Bhattacharya, Mr. Subrata Pal, and Mr. Mohd Soyav, who evaluated entries based on taste, presentation, innovation, hygiene, and time management. The event not only provided a platform for students to showcase their culinary skills but also fostered creativity and teamwork among participants.
